My toe nail is hanging off help please?

Ok so this morning I was in the kitchen and my bf came over and was standing behind me I turned and stubbed my toe against his steel toed boots. I didn't think much of it till I looked down and saw it bleeding, but the nail looked fine, the blood seemed to be coming from around the nail. I clean it up and noticed my nail seemd to be jutting forward so I touched it lightly and basically the back is still connected to my toe but the front has completely torn off. The nail itself is still in one piece but only the back is connected to the cuticle area. Gross I know. I covered it with a bandaid so as to stop it from hitting anything again and to keep the toe nail in place. Will it grow back? What should I do?
