What do I do about my ripped off finger nail?!?

My friend has acrylic nails and she was doing yard work and her finger nail got caught and her natural nail got pulled up off her skin all the way down to the cuticle. Its still attached, and the acrylic nail is also still attached to her natural nail, and it hurts really bad. What's going to happen to it and is there anything she should do, I put bandaids on for her...hopefully I explained it so you can understand what I'm talking about lol.
