What happens after car accident?

Every accident I was in had the same information. All drivers info was placed on one form and copies were picked up for insurance purposes the next day after processing. That's really weird ! If you never came to a complete stop... did the person behind you believe you were going to run the stop sign ? It obviously is his fault. Before anything comes of this (never know when some nut feels like he's hurt and is going to sue- there's a statute of limitations) I'd bring this to the attention of the officer who wrote the report and if you're not satisfied, have a lawyer ck it.
