Is there any way to fix a fingernail damage?

Okay, I went to Nails Deluxe in Bristol, in the Broadmead shopping centre. I had false white tips put on and when they did them they filed my natural nail near the cuticle tooo much to the point that now my natural nails has indents and they hurt a bit, Any one know what i could do to fix this? I do not want false tips put back on ever again but wondering also if there is any GOOD nail places as well that might be able to fix this issue with like overlay or something?
