Should we try to get a lawyer for auto accident?

In my opinion it was an accident on her part It seems like she was in the right stopping and all but an accident was caused. She may have misjudged or something. I would say to try to work it out with the insurance. Now, if she was texting or something like that, then my answer would have been to get a lawyer :) But.. this is just my opinion i am not a professional or anything :d
